Our Co-Leadership Team spent 2 full days with Patience. During this brief time she was effective at quickly establishing a safe trusting working space with her approachability and humour! It quickly became clear the depth of knowledge Patience carries. She was able to guide us to identify and align our values, problem solving skills and conflict style. Ending with the  planning session provided us with the  hands on experience needed to  implement the knowledge we learned.  Our team walked away with additional resources, practical skills, and a greater connection. Patience is personable, encouraging and  an excellent teacher.  

Patience facilitated a series of workshops to gather input on an Indigenous PD framework developed by one of the College’s strategic plan committees. Patience gracefully navigated difficult questions and created a safe space for everyone to participate and share their feedback. I heard post-workshop comments on her excellent facilitation skills, the flow and the organization of the workshops. We look forward to continuing to partner with Thynk Leadership.

Over the past 4 years, we’ve developed a relationship with Patience working on community, education, and government projects of all sizes. Her broad range of experience and perspectives help us successfully meet our project goals. Equally or maybe more importantly, Patience helps us build our community and meet those deeper customer experience goals. Patience has a natural style motivating learners to try new approaches, build new skills, and celebrate their renewed confidence.

I met Patience in 1996. During our time I have watched Patience create many projects, providing healing support in Indigenous communities, During our years together, I have seen Patience successfully consult and liaise with service providers (both governmental and non-governmental), define effective needs assessments, arrange educational curriculum and create program delivery. Patience is a good communicator and masterful educator with an innovative vision for the future.

I have always known Patience to maximize the connections she makes with others. She is well loved by the communities and groups she is involved with her unique leadership skills and impressive ability to create positive environments around herself. As a dependable team player, with a tremendous capacity for making a significant impact in the world around her.

Patience is truly in a class of her own when it comes to creating interactive leadership training. I was lucky enough to be included in one of her courses and came out the other end with lots of practical and philosophical leadership tools which I implement daily.
