Our Co-Leadership Team spent 2 full days with Patience. During this brief time she was effective at quickly establishing a safe trusting working space with her approachability and humour! It quickly became clear the depth of knowledge Patience carries. She was able to guide us to identify and align our values, problem solving skills and conflict style. Ending with the planning session provided us with the hands on experience needed to implement the knowledge we learned. Patience is truly in a class of her own when it comes to creating interactive leadership training. I was lucky enough to be included in one of her courses and came out the other end with lots of practical and philosophical leadership tools which I implement daily. I met Patience in 1996. During our time I have watched Patience create many projects, providing healing support in Indigenous communities, During our years together, I have seen Patience successfully consult and liaise with service providers (both governmental and non-governmental), define effective needs assessments, arrange educational curriculum and create program delivery. Patience is a good communicator and masterful educator with an innovative vision for the future.
I have always known Patience to maximize the connections she makes with others. She is well loved by the communities and groups she is involved with her unique leadership skills and impressive ability to create positive environments around herself.
